In the spring months, the landscape is freshly inviting with new grass, glossy leaves, blazing red rhododendrons and a mix of yellow, violet and white wildflowers.

- The trekkers should have sufficient stamina to trek a distance of 5 kilometres in 45 minutes and carry a backpack of 10 kgs.
- It is advisable to have an experienced guide accompanying you to help you through the trekking route.
- It is recommended that you trek in a group, with 3-4 people.

Day 1: Dehradun to Raithal
- Start from Dehradun Railway Station at 6:00 am.
- Dehradun to Raithal 230km, 7 hour drive, expected arrival time in Raithal at 1:00 pm,Altitude 1800m.
- Dinner and stay in guest house.
- Short Briefing, Instructions and document collections in evening.
Your journey starts early with your pick up from Dehradun Railway station at 6:00a.m. 180 kms long drive via Chamba and Uttarkashi along with the Ganga and Bhagirathi River accompanying you. You reach Raithal by evening from where your package will start. The meals will be served and accommodation will be in homestays.
A small and quick briefing will be done by the trek leaders once every one settles down. Listen carefully to the instructions given. Collection of medical and disclaimer certificates will be done.
Day 2: Raithal to Gui Campsite
- Morning tea and breakfast at guest house at 8am.
- Trek briefing, Important instruction by Trek Leader and starts trekking from Raithal to Gui Campsite.
- 5 km of trekking in 3 to 4 hours.
- Altitude 2,898m.
- Evening snacks, dinner, and camping at Gui Campsite.
You will be starting after your breakfast. Today is a 5kms trek from Raithal to Gui. The trek grade is easy for the day passing through the beautiful forest trail. The altitude gain will be there and you will reach at a height of 2898 m above the sea level.
Acclimatization walk is recommended once you reach your Gui campsite. Evening snacks and dinner will be served later. Accomomdation is in tents for the night.
Day 3: Gui Campsite to Dayara Bugyal and Back
- Breakfast at Gui Campsite .
- Starts trekking from Gui campsite to Dayara Bugyal and back to Gui Campsite.
- 4 km of trekking in 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
- Altitude 3,048m.
- Packed lunch at Dayara view point.
- Dinner and accomodation at Gui Campsite.
Day 3 you will be trekking to the Dayara Bugyal. It will be a long day and first there is a moderate ascent to reach the Bugyal. This trek trail journey through the thick oak and Rhododendron forests to reach Dayara Bugyal. Followed by retracing the same route which will be a descent to return back to Gui Campsite
Trekkers are recommended to carry a day bag as it will be easier to trek as you will return to the same campsite from where you will start the trek.The day bag will come in handy for packed lunch, camera, phone, chocolates, nuts, water bottle and other small essential items depending on an individual.
In winters Dayara bugyal is covered in a thick blanket of snow which is the attraction for the trekkers. This trek can also be enjoyed in summer months when the trail will be covered in vibrant flowers blooming and cattle grazing all around. The evening snacks and dinner will be served at the campsite.
Day 4: Gui to Raithal and drive to Dehradun
- Breakfast at Gui Campsite.
- 5 km trek to Raithal, 230 km drive till Dehradun, Altitude 2,898m .
The final day is short trek followed by drive back to Dehradun. This day is simple but you have a lot to cherish as you will be filled with panoramic mountain views, the vast bugyal or meadow will remain in your memory forever.
