The influence of science and technology in journeys and travels

A story-teller, is not that what everyone wants to be ? Journeys and travels as understood commonly are not to reach out to some place for some cheap thrill. Neither are they escape from our choking lifestyles.

It is that we stopped travelling and exploring that our lifestyles started choking back on us. More you wander the more you are filled with amazement that how less you know a learning. Learning that would set in a humility. Humility that would create stories - messages for others. The very process of learnings brought ecstasy to explorers.

Learnings not only of the brain but more significantly of the heart that would make way for an ecstatic being. A wanderlust was to take birth that would simmer inside to make one wander more and more. The lust that hankers for that ever-blissful state. Travels brought you closest to them, didn't they? And as if one could not contain the ecstasy, stories were to come out flowing out to spell-bind the receivers. Technology has silently and correctly seeped in tour travels, right from the inspiration to the experience and last but not the least - story-telling.

Travelling to far off places, to remote villages, to suspense filled forests and to unwelcoming weather conditions in the high mountain ranges is an adrenalin pumping thought. It was not an easy job for travellers, explorers and trekkers a few decades back.

One was risking his life when he setafoot for unknown territories. Only the bravest and most courageous- the mad's ones - would risk their comfort. Harsh weather conditions, difficult terrains, wild animals, health issues - the challenges are many. Technology, just like with every other act in our lifestyle would come ands often up the task.

Websites, booking platforms, apps and using social media all provide the opportunity to engage and connect with customers on a variety of levels to allow an enhanced travel experience. Social media - a gift of Internet and technology has created a global village.

Explorers will continue to travel around the world to experience new things and advances in technology are there to influence andinspire this: not prohibited. trusted word-of- mouth recommendations and physical guidebooks breakthroughs in digitalisation have given customers independence and choice in a big way. Lets not forget that travel is essentially about connecting the places, people, experiences and memories. One thing that technology does well, is connect things.

I got the View?... Yes Captured!!

Advanced wireless connectivity media and gadgets also have helped one to get information on weather conditions to follow and geolocation. Camera technology has assisted in high quality journey recordings. Recordings that would become your story-telling. It is not only limited to the most eloquent ones but anyone can turn himself into one.

Hold on tight to that wanderlust, the phenomenon that would make you drop off your mind and allow your heart to sing and dance - dance to the tunes of this very existence. To merge a fragment with the whole. Technology is just to be used to cut off the strings that bind him from fears of getting lost or falling into unwarranted roadblocks - that is all. It should never become just anotherstring to hold you back!
